anyone though about Rino coat the sides???

My work got a new truck last week and they rino coat the bed and it comes in colors any thoughts.

Local shop does anything and everything. I have seen guns stocks, mail boxes, kids wagons, even a compost barrel.

My only two thoughts are weight and cost. A large surface like a tear side would be some weight and would not be all that cheap. They seem to have decent flat rates for truck beds but everything else is done by a fairly high square foot rate.

It's been done before. I think a teardrop in Washington state had it done.

Yah, I was thinking of have it done just the lower side, about 1-2 ft up... to match the truck too... haven't taken it any further than that as to pricing etc.. but like the idea...

Here's one from Gage's site..hope they don't mind. IMHO..this trailer was pretty impressive from the application...there are other pics floating around.

I don't know how it has lasted...maybe Gage or the owner can speak up!!!

That blue trailer is a very nice rig, seems to be weatherproof and when I saw it, it was holding up well. I had the whole bottom of my teardrop shot with Line-X including the fenders and tongue box. Biggest drawback was that it added unwanted weight to an already-light 4x8 trailer. However, it would probably would pass the float test, but I ain't gonna try it.

We have used alot of Rhino style coating at work on speaker cabinets, and found that it added quite a bit of weight.
