PNW Newbie lov'ng "The Drop"

Postby fpoole » Sun Oct 05, 2008 1:32 pm

Howdy from the Great Pacific Nor'West (PNW).

Got mine from the Great Guys over at Camp Inn, WI (drove back to pick it up), Cary, and it's a blast.

While in Seattle, WA, I try to get out to the PNW and Canada mostly for Dive Camp-outs (scuba diving UW Photos) but also want, need?, to get out for Photo excursions. Main interests are going to places and either diving or Photo-ing them. (and also cooking)

Love "The Drop" as I call it just as much fun is in Outfitting it. Geesh, it looks better and is better stocked than where I live.

Anyway, just wanted to stop in for the intro, will be cruising the site for helpful hints and general good fun. Heading down to the TOW group meet in Oregon this coming weekend, Oct 10th, and diving at Clear Lake.

Great site, enjoy it and I do have some pics in the gallery... just starting out eh???

Nope, but believe there is another..... (Star Wars?)
Colleen and Noland have one too, built the same time... they will be heading down to Oregon too... we're building up and "Flock O'Drops" up here in Seattle. I got hooked cause my dive Buddy built his, so i got one, then another diver got one and another diver is on the verge of ordering one from Cozy... so, LOL.... it's like a TD Salesman  came through here...

cheers...

Thank you Miriam,
I'm looking forward to the weekend with TOW.
Towing in the ice and snow... LOL...
Well, the trip started out, back from Wisconsin, towing the trailer for the first time out the Camp Inn Driveway.. and for the next 3-4 hours...

I kept looking back to make sure it was still there, talking to it,
"..Ohhh, ouch, you feel that bump??? you still OK?? didn't break loose?? nothing opened??? I'm sorry... :worship:
and putzed along at 55mph...

Geeesh, by the end of the day, a long one at that...
It was more like..
"You still there????.... hang on baby, we'll be home soon..."
At 85mph.... :?
so, towing in the snow??? heheh... more like flying a kite... didn't even know it was there... ...
Thanks for the welcome...

Thank you Michele,

I see you're over in Bellevue, I'm in Ballard.. Cute dogs... very nice...

I like to cook, that doesn't mean I'm any good at it, but am starting to get back into it. Had all the stuff, don't use it at home, so figured best used in "The Drop"... much more fun too...

Thanks for the welcome, see you on the road...
