NewToForum
Hi, I'm Jack, I live near Seattle and I am in the process of building a Tear. I have an old HarborFreight 4x4 folder, my son's old snowmobile trailer, and am working on putting a Tear box ontop. Right now, I have a pile of lumber and no pictures. I'll ad when I get something intersting.
I would like to thank everyone, on 4 continents, that have added to my interest and progress so far. Otherwise, I would still be looking to buy another tent.

Jack,
Welcome to the forum. Take your time planning your Teardrop. Thats as much fun as the building, maybe more. The wife made so many sketches and the plans changed so many times Im lucky shes finally completed. So have fun its so addictive once you start the planning and the build its all the wife and I seem to talk about.
Enjoy your build,
Bill
Hope to see you on the road.

Welcome to the forum!

The craftsmen on this forum are just a wealth of information and motivation when building a tear. If you haven't had a chance yet you might want to look through the Hall of Fame (above) and in the personal albums of other forum members. Hope you are able to get started soon and enjoy your build.

Hi Jack, welcome aboard. Now you are about to become one of us, which requires designing, building and using that home-built teardrop. Take pics, post em and attend some gatherings. Good luck on your build.
 Roly

damn, thanks for my first laugh out loud of the day... that is great.

I once carried a 10' piece of railing home on my motorcycle. I bungeed it on vertically, like a flag pole... but nothing like this...
