Here is the tear at our camp near Mt. Bachelor. Taken during one of the few breaks in the rain and snow.

Congratulations! You've built it, taken it on its maiden voyage and christened it in the rain and snow...with no leaks!

That's confidence in your work and proof of a job well done. :applause:

May you enjoy your teardrop for years to come.

I actually had my welding and fabrication class cut and tack weld the frame last spring. I put new bearings and seals in the axle in August and built the floor. The rest was done in September. But it is not finished yet. Cabinets inside and in the galley. Finish the wiring and mount a battery box. Build and mount a tongue box for the easy-up and chairs. Then trim the out side and she says the green is too bright and needs to be darker. Plus we want to sand out the roof better as some defects are showing through.
Bottom line . . . . . . . lots to do.
But we had to try it out and see if it leaked. (it doesn't)

Good for you, that first time out is quite a memory. Keep up the good work, and keep us filled in as to how the finished product turned out. Enjoy that tear as often as you can, there are a lot of quiet, scenic places to vist in our huge United States. Remember, when camping between the huge Motorcoaches, do let them open your doors and check out the inside, then go over and open their doors and do the same...........yea, right.
