Hi from Canon City Colorado!

Postby mollyteardrop » Sat Oct 25, 2008 4:20 pm

Hi Everyone!
I just got a teardrop today.
I'm so happy. I found it on Ebay, and the owner/builder brought it out from Indiana. He did a beautiful job building it and giving it some character we will be adding to.
Look for us, as Russ and I will be hitting the highway!
I love the website, all the pictures and great ideas, and experience you guys have to share.
All best...to our fellow teardroppers!
Molly

Congratulations on finding a tear! I hope one day to finish my build and pass you guys on the road. This is an awesome place to find help and ideas on anything to do with teardrops and camping. Just a tremendous amount of information provided by some true craftsmen (and women). Post some pictures of your tear if you get a chance. Hope you can begin to enjoy your teardrop and have many safe and enjoyable trips camping.

Molly, Welcome to the forum. That is a really nice looking teardrop. I am sure you will enjoy putting your own touch into it. I know Canon City very well. Hope to see you at one of the gatherings. There is a good group of Teardrop people in Colorado that should be chiming in soon.

Molly, welcome to the board, it looks like you are about to become one of the happy teardroppers that we all enjoy rubbing shoulders with. Fire up that hauler, now that the weather has become a bit chilly, and head for the west coast.........warm weather, blue skies and a place to park, if you make it out here.

You have a nice looking teardrop, and I know you will enjoy it. Now, get on the road, enjoy our nation's treasures and swing on by. The coffee is always on. Looking forward to meeting you and Russ, when you arrive in sunny Southern California.........Remember, the trip is just as enjoyable as the destination..........Enjoy. See ya soon.
:applause: Roly, another star-struck teardropper, loving the TD life style.

What a wonderful group of people you are....thanks for the enthusiastic welcome. I am putting my 'touch' on now...I can imagine a teardrop decor and recipes magazine on the rack at Safeway now! Maybe even throw in some teardrop fashion ideas and landscaping....
