I also made it home just around 8:00PM. All I can say is "Too many people to meet and trailers to see..... and not enough time to do it all." I had a great time!!!!! Never did spot the train that kept blowing it's horn as it swept through the campgrounds.

I hear the train a 'commin', it's right around tha bend . . .

Sounds like the Spinnernut Express was passin' by . . . . .
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

It's all ready on my calendar for next year. I'm using all my fingers and toes to figure out when 180 days prior is so I can make my reservations. :frustrated:

I'm BACK and survived another outrageous LCG and Madjack Birthday Bash... him and all his friends sure know how to throw a rowdy party!

I'm pooped from unpacking , will get pictures loaded on here in a little bit.

Great weather, yummy food, delicious Pina Coladas (thanks Glenn), outrageous laughs and fun and the best campers in the world !!!

MUCH thanks to those that traveled so far... we know you could have spent those miles going to the beach or the mountains, but we're so happy you came to the South Central... it was so much fun getting to meet everyone and visit .

I hope we all have good health and good fortune and get to camp together again soon ... !!!!

Julie
ps... thanks for putting up with my craziness as usual !!! :?
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

We got back about 8:00 sunday evening with no electricity when we arrived. It was really cold and supposed to get colder. There was a note on the door from the electric company that they shut the electric off for non payment of bill and the name on it wasn't even ours, we were up to date and it was the wrong address. It seems they were supposed to shut off about 2 blocks from us. Well, it has been off for a week so needless to say everything in the frig and freezer was ruined. I called the electric company and explained what had happened and would they please turn it back on. Well, no, I could just call this morning and talk to the office. I told them no it was their fault and I wanted something done. :x To make a long story short they told us we would have to make other arrangements as they could do nothing. So this morning we got it straightened up and got it back on and they said it was a disasterous mistake but the only way they could replace our food was to send them, now get this, receipts for all the food we lost, like we keep all our receipts. Looks like we will have to get our lawyer involved to get anything done. I think it would have been warmer if we had slept in the TD but it was too cold to empty it to have a place to sleep. We did still have a buzz on from the great time we had with everyone so I didn't have a stroke or blow a fuse.

Thanks to everyone who had a hand in the activities, food, etc. I just wish I could have got around to meet everyone and say hello. I didn't even get to the big dance. Can't wait to see everyone again! Sure hope everyone got home safely.

I got home about three this afternoon. Since most people left on Sunday, the park was pretty quiet last night, and the Raccoons were out all over the place.

I'm sure Dave will post a link to a larger image, but here is the biggest size I can post in this thread...
