Wow, I counted 90 that were IN the picture. There were a few that were still cramming food onto the table or were making their way to the eating area when the shutter was slammed. Good lookin' group!!!!!!

Well, we rolled in with the CASHCOW about 7 tonight. We logged 1240 miles for the roundtrip. Not bad for a weekend of fun and fellowship. LCGIII was great and Mike and I are really glad we made the trip. It was wonderful to put some faces with some names. Plan on coming again next year but it will be a mad-house getting those reservations in when the time opens........ I can see the reservation clerk now.. :? :? :?

We made a stop-over at Lake Mineral Wells for the night Sunday and wound up having a mini teardrop gathering around our campfire with JRC. Glad to spend some time with yall, JRC. Hope we can meet again somewhere down your way soon. Those steaks you were talking about sound great!.. We will post some picts when Mike and I get unpacked and IF I EVER GET THE DANG LAUNDRY DONE! Geez didnt know two people could go through so much junk in four days...... :CC

After I finished unpacking the tear yesterday morning, I went to the "World's Largest Retailer" and had some prints made to take with me to Weight Watchers last night. I thought for sure they were going to physically throw me out of the building when they saw the food spreads. I was just amazed that I still managed to knock off three of the pounds I put on the previous week due to my son's wedding. Had to be all that walking in the fresh bayou air!! Or maybe the rattlesnake bites chased all the calories out of my system?!?!

Well, about 9AM Sunday we had an "incident" with the tongue weight of the Widget. We were kind of sleeping/laying around when the two dogs came to the back where we were and WHAM!....... the tongue flew up and the back end hit the ground. Ah, and the crockpot of beef and noodles I had at the front of the camper came catapulting onto me and splattered all over the wall and bed  . Me and the dogs moved to the front and WHAM! the tongue slammed back onto the ground. I opened the door to find DaveL, RayVillian and Backwoodsman running over to see what had happened. What a mess it was inside, I just folded up the sheet/noodle combo and stuck it in a trash sack for the trip home. I'm glad I had a coat of poly on the walls or the stain would've been there forever.

NOTE TO SELF: Put some blocks under the back  .

Jeff and Anna

P.S. Cynda, glad you and Steve made it home alright. We really enjoyed your company Saturday.

Thanks to Steve & Sherri (Sonetpro) for the Halloween goodies! The jar of M&M's with the custom imprints were really cute. I found a teardrop trailer, LCG 2008, and Teardrop Time. I went to work on the peanut butter chews and saved the M&M's for later.

Thanks again,
Rick & Linda

Well, it was just to calm at our end of the camp! Between the injuries and flying noodles, I think we will certainly make our reservations EARLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY for next year so we can be in the "thick" of things.
The only excitement we had around our end of the park were the thieving racoons. I think they must have been trained by the park rangers....  Smart little buggers too! :duh: It was amazing how that racoon took out only 4 eggs in one carton and stole the two tubs of butter that were still in the packaging. (found one of the tubs, still closed but with little claw and teeth marks poked in them.) Then the next night, the Landry's were hit. Guess we should have warned them! Took some cinammon raisin bread from them (I guess to go with their butter!" like I said....... SMART LITTLE BUGGERS!...

Then when we were at Lake Mineral Wells, I'll be dipped if another racoon trapsed right up to the teardrop galley right in front of us, opening the drawers and seeing what he could find! amazing....... I can hardly wait til next year to see the new tricks the park rangers have taught them. Guess I better keep my camera handy so I can prove all this......... :applause:
