Yes sir, Doug, and let me tell you, it's a beouch to figure out how to do that.
I've had that trailer in my head for a few years now, and eventually, it will be done.

How big are you planning on that trailer? Like a full stand up? Just wondering how large you were planning on your radaii. I've been playing around with different curved glass ideas for something similar. Make it look like a large trailer, but it's a miniature. Lots of glass in the front. Hope to see you get started on it. Doug

Doug, it will be a standie. just barely though, I'm thinking 6'8" at the crown of the roof, the door tall enough to duck into, and about 15 foot long.
I need something to live in if we ever have to vacate the premises due to impending disaster, or a reasonable facsimile.

Jim...is the roof to be flat after the radius or gradually slope up to a peak and pick up a couple of more inches in height? It sounds like you are going to build a ridge down the center. Have you checked out the Atlas museum site? Lots of great ideas there to check out. ....so sit down with a beverage and plod through. I like your idea! Doug

How would a wide trolley top look, even if was a little square you might get extra height and light inside

Jim...I love it...what a killer design! Yup, you're right...not exactly the easiest thing to do, but you know what, it can be done! My only comment....try a little slant on the A$$ end of it. But that's just me and only a suggestion. I appreciate your "out of the box thinking" If you are thinking about a roof vent. I've found that the base on a Fantastic fan will conform to a reasonable curve without having to go through all sorts of extra base construction. Doug

ya know, I was also thinking of doing a trolley top, but with stained glass all the way around.
how cool would that look at night.
