What did I miss?

It's Monday morning, and I was too busy installing ground wires this weekend to log on.

I did it your way, Woody. Worked fine, except for two identical spots on the sides, for the lamps. The run from the edge of the wall to the opening was too long, so I let the ground sit flush on the wall. It'll be covered by my homemade lamps anyway--12" ship wheels with light attachments that I'll rig.

And as far as my camping skills go, I was a Boy Scout for a bunch of years--and you ain't no Boy Scout until you've been a BROOKLYN Boy Scout. (Ever go to a weekend campout on the SUBWAY!? Just kidding.)

I was in the Beaver Patrol (Troop 292), and our troop motto:

"On my honor I will do my best...to help the Girl Scouts gets undressed."

I didn't really look at that site Ol'Timer gave me, but I thought that was a bat on the home page. So what the heck is it anyway?

IraRat,
An elusive creature, nocturnal creature, a creature that has been blamed in Puerto Rico for livestock mutilations and is of "regional folklore" of the area. Some say its of this world, some mutated terrestial animal, other claim it came from another planet and is stranded here. Either way if you ever run across one. Don't panic, just run like hell and scream like alittle girl, becuase if they are real, you are done. It is all over.

IraRat,
Hey I didn't make it up. That is what they believe on the island. Might be true, then again might not be either. It can stay right where it is any way

I believe you.

My Venezuelan wife used to think professional wrestling was real.

What do you mean it is not real. You mean to tell me that all this action ,bulls*&t drama, theatrics, special effects, mass merchandising to line those guys pockets and the explotation the cheesy plot lines isn' t real. What do you mean they are not real. What could have you possibly use as proof it is not real. Buddy that is as real as it gets my my friend.  We are all like sheep being lead to our eventual intellectual slaughter

 :applause:

That's a great story!

I have to learn to lie to my kids more often, and I don't mean anything bad by my usage of "lie."

I do my best to entertain my kids and be a big goof-off with them, but when it comes to killing a bug or them being afraid of something "spooky" in the night, I make it real cut and dry:

"There's nothing out there that can hurt you. You can kill that big in the corner with one finger, so go do it. And if you REALLY want to know fear, just get married, buy a house, and have kids."

Been down that road twice, and it wasn't any easier the second time, when being older I should have known better.
