Nothing like the sound of a "Big Block". My little 289 sounds good but the Big bore engines have a sound of their own. The 'Cuda is one of my top 5 cars. At least they can still be affordable unlike my favorites "the mid '60's Cobras".

I'll need to recheck my lottery tickets in the morning. :thumbsup:

OK OK - I can vouch for "stang" (Kurt) His Mustang is a real nice machine!!! :thumbsup: I, as well, have old cars and trucks - it's not that I like them so much, but it's all I can afford :cry: :cry: They're just not quite old enough to be classic!!! :roll:

We used to use (Paxton) Super chargers on the small block 289's. But I agree blown is better.

A few more additions to the participants list including 5 mystery campers.

Jim and Sue (jim49) are coming as well with their Raindrop which I have never seen.

At this rate we may have to organize a 'shuttle' to bring campers over to the pot luck! :lol:

TearUp Cookbook

From my lovely wife...

At the last TearUp a suggestion was made to create a cookbook of camping recipes. Ray offered to print and bind the books and I volunteered to gather the contents.

So, I guess it's time for me to start my portion!

Please email me your favourite camping recipes (as many recipes as you like!) and note whether you cooked them for any of the TearUps. Also, it would be wonderful if you included a paragraph describing the dish. For example, how you obtained the recipe; any family connections (passed down by great, great gramma, etc); comments on the taste; any disasters preparing, etc, etc. PS - I added the disaster idea from my own experiences with camp cooking!! If you want to include photos that's even better!!! Pics of the dish, pics of you, you cooking while camping, you cooking at your teardrop stove/dutch oven while camping!

If we get enough responses to produce the book we'll have it available for sale at the Tearup in June. The price will only be to cover the cost of printing and binding.

Hope to hear from all of you soon.
