I've joined the hatch building club

Finished framing and skinning the second door today and got to work on the hatch.

Framing was much easier than working with the doors.

But -- Tried bending the 1" angle today and ended up with a few ripples. Gotta beat it some more.

channel around hatch

on my hatch i got aluminum channel and put around my hatch. it worked out geat. no wrickles. 45 all corners.

Say a little more about that, I don't follow exactly. I'm 59 today and slowing down somewhat. Physically and mentally :) But I'll definitely take that over the alternative :applause: :applause:

Geron:

looks good. I think there are bound to be some wrinkles bending a 1" x 1"
angle.
