Well, it was just to calm at our end of the camp! Between the injuries and flying noodles, I think we will certainly make our reservations EARLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY for next year so we can be in the "thick" of things.
The only excitement we had around our end of the park were the thieving racoons. I think they must have been trained by the park rangers.... Smart little buggers too! It was amazing how that racoon took out only 4 eggs in one carton and stole the two tubs of butter that were still in the packaging. (found one of the tubs, still closed but with little claw and teeth marks poked in them.) Then the next night, the Landry's were hit. Guess we should have warned them! Took some cinammon raisin bread from them (I guess to go with their butter!" like I said....... SMART LITTLE BUGGERS!...
Then when we were at Lake Mineral Wells, I'll be dipped if another racoon trapsed right up to the teardrop galley right in front of us, opening the drawers and seeing what he could find! amazing....... I can hardly wait til next year to see the new tricks the park rangers have taught them. Guess I better keep my camera handy so I can prove all this.........
What little critters? I thought they where the night shift and where efficiency experts in stacking food.

These guys don't look like thieves; Not these guys.

PS: I learned My lesson at Beavers Bend with the squirrels. Also my truck was 60 lbs lighter going home.
