Sounds worse than Moreforles's experience. I can say the worst camping we ever endured was camping in my Ford EconoVan w/ my 4 young daughters and my wife some 20 years ago. It had bunks built in. Went to a State Park and it rained the entire weekend. Oh yes and a lightning storm that made them all cry
the entire last nite. We did drive home home in the middle of the nite. That was roughin it for us. Never had the pleasure of sleeping in a tent or sleeping on an air mattress. Really not into pain that much. Lol.
The wife and I are more comfortable in our little Teardrop and Memory Foam mattress than we were in any of the campers we have owned.
Do yourself a favor buy or build a Teardrop and get a good mattress. Its so worth it.
