Hi
I'm KJ from So cal
Iv lived here my hole life ,I'm building a TD from scratch and read a lot of stuff here to help and thank you for all that. I'm a flooring contractor and things got real slow so I started this a month ago and im get close to the finish line. most of what I used is all left overs from jobs in flooring, I like to have thing that know one else has but I like the look of the teardrop so I went with a 4' x 8' 8) HF trailer that a got used off eBay and stared the build, its a 4' x 9'.5 outer 1/4" ply 1"x2" frame 1/8" inter wall skin 1/4 cork inside and out ,yes cork 4' x 5' sheets
the 1/4 ply is covered with epoxy and the cork was installed with a urethane wood glue for moisture, the cork has 4 coats of waterproofing I will use l/capping over the seams that we use for shower doors
I will try to put some pics up if I find a way to do so
oh sorry about my typing never took a class can you tel
Thanks KJ http://s271.photobucket.com/albums/jj15 ... ar%20drop/

Welcome, KJ,
That cork sounds interesting! I'm eager to see how it looks and holds up against water and sunlight.
