Hello, I'm Paul. I've been interested in teardrop trailers for a while now, I saw them on Speed and was fascinated by the style. I'm about to build one in the future. I'm going to go pretty basic, nothing extreme at first.

Hi Paul,

Welcome to the forum. Have fun, ask questions and please, when you start to plan and build, share pictures, drawings and ideas. We love it when people share. Only then will we be able to question your sanity

Welcome.... curious what part of the country or world you're hailing from... there's bound to be some other teardropppers around and I would highly recommend that you try to see and get the feel for one in person .

You'll love the world of teardropping!

Shoopkid,
Welcome to the forum. Lots of great people around here that is more than willing to share their knowledge and experience. Take your time make sketches and believe me our plans changed numerous times before we started the actual build. Ya know theres nothing like the pride you will feel when your Tear is completed and people are ewwing and awwing over it. Lol.
Enjoy the build,
Bill and Marijo :applause:
Hope to see you on the road.

Hey Paul,

Welcome to the forum.

How many teardrops are you planning on building?

Mike...

I'd like to build three. The first one "the rough draft," the second "way better" and the final one, the "Cadillac" of tear drops. Of course this is all long term, work within my budget and so on.

and yet another falls victim to a tear building obsession....been there, doing it....built 4, got another on paper, still own 3, haven't really pushed selling any...why should I?...I get to camp in whichever one I want, and if someone wants to buy....it's for sale. Build what you want, and enjoy it! That's what makes it fun, for me it's about the build and having fun with it, If I can sell it and make a buck...well, it's just icing on the cake...Doug
