Hey Dexter,
Welcome to the forum. This is a great forum so many nice people. Did you join the TearJerkers Club yet? Nice gatherings with campers in your area. Check em out. Just look at the top of the page, last line, Other websites. Im sure youll meet some interesting people. I look forward to my 1st TearJerker Gathering. You picked a good time to hunt for a camper. Prices should be a bit better around this time of year. We built our own Tear. Whatever you decide to do good luck and happy hunting. Hope you find a gem.
Your friends from Pa,

It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.

Image to the playground Dexter. Have a look in our For Sale/wanted forum if you are looking to buy. Some great deals there.

Key West sounds wonderful right now. Cold setting in and fishing out for a while..

Hi Dexter,

Welcome to the teardrop information center.:D

If you want to camp down in KW this winter, better make reservations soon. Most places book 11 months in advance in the winter time. May I suggest Boyd's Campground on Stock Island, It's a great place, with many sites right on the water, a swimming pool and just a short hop over the Roosevelt bridge to Key West where you can learn to do the Duval Crawl, a time honored tradition. http://www.boydscampground.com

HI Dexter, welcome to the forum. If you really want a teardrop trailer, you have 4 choices. You can build one, either from plans or your own design, you can buy one from the many manufacturers that can be found on this board, you can find an old relic behind a barn that has been used as a chicken coop and retore it or.........you can steal one, but I suggest you don't consider the latter.

Ah yes, Key West, I remember it well. We drove the full length of the many bridges and islands and the temps were below 30 degrees. The locals said it was a new record low. Hope you have better luck when you get there. Good luck on your build, purchase or restoration. We are here to help, just ask, and answers will be forthcoming..........
;) Roly, some think a Woody would be nice, but I guess I am prejudice.

We are thinking about staying at the Bahia Honda State Park. Has anyoe ever stayed there? We went to keywest last year and stayed in a condo it was a great time. Hoping to have as much fun and get some camping in.

Yes, we have stayed there a few times. Great place, beaches on the Atlantic and Gulf side. Hard to get a reservation for this winter. I checked Reserve America and only single days available here and there with very few 2 day reservations available. Sometimes there are cancellations, but to get one you have to check several times a day and be the lucky one to get the site. This is why I recommended Boyd's Campground, also it is much closer to KW. 8)
