Vintage Coleman and other stuff....

I grew up in the outdoors and still love it. I sure miss those times.

The thing is Joanne....while you may miss those times...times do change (see my loss of hair).... however YOU have created a heritage with DO cooking....down the road someone in your family may be cherishing Auntie Joanne's DO's and cast iron collection. I just think if any one can spice it up with a really nice piece of equipment that has been in the family and has some heritage to it....just makes camping all that much better. Tell the story while you use it. Drag it out and carry on the heritage and if you don't have a nice piece....pick one up and start it. Doug

Very cool lanterns there. Never thought of that. Would be cool for the races tho. Although I might have to keep a good eye on one of those more than I usually do for mine.

Dave....I dunno about getting AGM parts...not sure if many of them can cross with a Coleman. There are forums that you could join and get info and maybe parts. Here's a site that you can find out some info if you have one.

RubbinzRacin - Harry (From Days of Thunder) isn't a member, I just made it up to spoof Doug.
The owner/creator told me he used a dremel tool to etch the globes.
His name is Don and he lives in Georgia.
He's going to replate some nickel founts for us.

You guys inspired me to put my collection all together and share it. 1920's and 30's on the left, 50's and 60's on the right. The folding tables are from the same era's too. The "Auto Cook Kit" stove on the far left was all rust and I spent WAY too much time restoring it, but it was well worth it.

Sorry if this is on the wrong thread.

I've got a old Coleman Model 425F gas two burner, made in Wichiya, Kansas, at least 20 years old.

The dang thing is in good shape except the pump will not pump up the gas pressure.


Any tips on getting the pump to work?
