Sparksalot

I don't even bother sneaking anymore, the tear is my favorite place to watch a movie, with my son and two grandchildren living with us, it's total escape and survive time.

57. When you see an old pop up, boat, or little flat bed trailer and think, how you could build a nice teardrop on that frame.

58. Your spouse is now pointing out possible build materials to use in your trailer build. Usually it was the other way around when you spotted it first.

59. You sketch out pictures of your trailer to show people what you have, or better, a photo album of your trailer on your cell phone.

60. When you sneak away to the garage to take a nap in the tear.

61. You enjoy watching television outside from your trailer, more than inside your home .

62. You pick out a cute name for your trailer, or if you can't make up your mind, you poll the forums to help you come up with more suggestions.

63.

You know you are addicted when you find a plethora of useable trailer parts, everything imaginable. You don't want to tell about it, because you fear that the supply will run out. Image

you know you're a teardropper if the wife sends :running man: you out to the TD to rob the cooking oil so she can finish the cake she is baking for church! (She just calls it the "other pantry.")

or If you come home from work and find the TD hatch up  , all the cupboards are :o :o open and all you can find missing is the coffee :o

63. You are addicted if instead of showing pictures of your family vacations/campouts, you carry a baby book photo album of your build pictures.

You might be addicted when your entire "leisure" wear apparel is nothing but T shirts from various gatherings and you buy a couple just in case you ruin one. Let's see....a Minden shirt or one from the Redwoods? oh wait...the Dam for sure...Doug

65. Break out the vintage camping gear! You are now searching for vintage stoves, lanterns, and flashlights. The new stuff stays at home!

You know you are addicted when you haven't finished your first Teardrop and you already have most of the signs on this list, and you are already planning for the next build.

Yeppers! I think you may have the beginnings of #29.

29. First one is finished. Second one is almost finished. Have frame and planning third one.

I just brought my trailer home for my first build, my second and third are drawn in autoCAD, at 1:30 this morning I was laying in bed thinking how to make a fourth one. I tried to sneak out of bed to draw it up "real quick", but my wife woke up and said no. Why is it the best ideas come in the middle of the night?

Don't know what number we're on, but this weekend I did the math and discovered if I quit smoking I can add $120 a month to my build budget. I only smoked 5 today. My will power is strong so I should be smoke free by Friday. Now if I could quit drinking Pepsi, I could add another $75-100. ;)
