Danny,

Would that look sharp towing Ken Masden's Bowlus Papoose trailer. I bet he would like to add that to his collection of '36 cars. But could he aquire one without his wife finding out like what happened with the Papoose? lol

Pretty cool!

Sure beats the pants off the Delorean ... :D ...

... but for my money, though, I can't for the life of me figure out why they chose the next-to-the-ugliest car that Ford produced that year (only the Fordor was uglier!)? Now, had they chosen the 3-Window Coupe ... ...!
(Ken knows my attraction to that model ...)

But, could you just see a '39 Lincoln Zepher 3-Window Coupe in stainless steel ...??? That would be just too 8) 8) 8) 8) ...
(Might even be worth any amount of wrath that Marti could muster up ...  ...!)

CHEERS!

I almost always change out my exhaust to stainless, in a fairly short time, and it always looks like new after 100,000 miles. Makes you wonder about planned obsolescence.

GM might have folded long ago if we could still drive our cars from the 30's on a regular basis.

Sometimes Marty is the last to know of one of Ken's acquisitions. Come up for the Fourth of July gathering in Carnation WA and you can meet Ken & Marty and see his/their car and trailer collection. It will be worth the trip. Danny

Like Danny was saying, Ken has a affinity for 1936 automobiles and has quite a few along with a few Model "A"s and "T"s. He tows his teardrop with a '36 Ford 3 window and his '35 Masterbilt (correct sp) trailer with a '36 Buick 4dr convertable. He has a teardrop that the title shows was first registered in 1936. Told his wife what he was getting that one when they were driving to pick it up. It was mentioned at the August Mt Baker Vintage Trailer gathering by Doug Keister, author of Teardrops and Tiny Trailers, that the Papoose was a very rare trailer that someone attending the meet recently aquired one. When Marty finally added all the comments together, she asked Ken what he was doing. Ken said he thought he had about two more weeks before taking possesion to figure out how to tell her. The few times I bought then told the wife, it doesn't go well for me. I need to take lessons from Ken. BTW, they still are happily married.

Thank you Danny and Jack. I can see how his wife might be a little upset with that. Sounds like it works out though.
