Gift Exchange (I had to re-read what was said on last year's thread):

As in past years, one gift brought by each person in the campsite. The gift price should NOT exceed $10;it could be less. It can be a useable gift or a gag gift, wrapped or in a gift bag.

I have a very little used , easy to put up two room tent if anyone needs to borrow (or buy) it. If you have to tent it, bring a space heater too... Glenn used that at LCG and said it was "toasty" in his tent.

Back in around 1995, I got pissed off at my high-pay, high bullsh-t corporate job, and went to work at an REI store for about a year. I spent most of what I earned on camping gear. The wife didn't care, since she liked to camp, too. I have a great tent -- not big, but it will survive a hurricane.

And, Lowes has a Stanley heater that is perfect for my tent when it is cold outside.

Now, the million-dollar question -- will there be a bogus burn ban again this year? It rained last year, and everything was wet, but they had a burn ban. What's up with that?

I would love to do Palo Duro again. I hope next year, my car doesn't explode on the way home.

I would appreciate not having any "gag" gifts, as those are usually only good for re-gifting or aren't usuable.
Thanks..

If we're caroling again, is someone putting together the words & music on paper, like last year?

Oh and I haven't made a res yet but should.... checked accuweather for kicks & giggles, and I know it's just a guess but says about mid 50's or more during the day, and mid 30's at night.

Are we doing a Christmas movie again?

Cindy, funny you said you'd make King Ranch casserole. see? we must really indeed be related.

I just took leftover turkey and made a King Ranch Casserole this afternoon!!! yummmmm

I'll have to figure out what to do for potluck. Omelets for breakfast? I'm kinda broke right now so don't know if I could swing that.
