Things that don't fit anywhere else...

post a picture of your cat

Postby starleen2 » Mon Nov 17, 2008 9:08 pm

Ok, everyone loves their dogs - there is a thread devoted to them, but I am a cat person. This is Meowmeow . She greets me when I come home and loves to be a lap cat. Granted she doesn’t come slobbering all over me, crap up my yard, and is poor traveling company – but she a fine pet. She is a rescue pet to replace another rescue cat that we had for 16 yrs. So post a picture of your furry feline for us to see. ;)

This is Charlie, aka Charles D. Mewer. He was left at our house for the weekend by my stepson about 7 years ago, and they never picked him up. He likes to wake me up at least a couple of times a night. I think that was why he came to live with us in the first place. He spends a lot of time looking at the forum.

This is GreyBoy. She is about 10 yo and had only had two litter of kittens. There may be some gender confusion going on. She is a very nice cat and I'm not really a cat person.

This is our Himalayan, Dalai (as in Lama). I'm not a cat person but these have been well behaved cats. They don't do the things that normally make me want to hate cats like, jumping on the table, bolting as soon as you open the door, and jumping on you when you are eating. These cats are bad jumpers.

This is what she normally looks like

This is Teddy. Short for Teddy Bear....cause he's as soft as one.

he is also known as Ted Kazinski
Teddy the Roughrider

and ShiTed. Only when he is naughty which isn't very often at all.

He doesn't care for travel but he a great pet. From day one he was taught that tables and countertops are forbidden and he definately knows the meaning of the word NO.

Looks like he'd be a perfect boyfriend for Madeline. They both have such pretty blue eyes. We kinda thought about calling him Frankie after Sinatra and his blue eyes.

Forget about cats being aloof. Ted is a people cat. When were gone more than a weekend we have people stop in to check on him. He has an automatic feeder but he really needs love and attention.

I was gonna take a picture of my "pancat" but the road was snowed over. 8) 8)

I only ever had one cat I liked and I'm not sure how I ended up with him. He used to ride around in my car all the time, he'd lay on the speaker grills on the back dash, not sure how he could stand the noise tho. 8)
That was back in my younger days tho. ;)

Yes, they're as soft as they look.

:(

I'm sorry to hear you had to lose your kitty. 12 years ago I had to put down our kitty, Puddie. We had her for 18 years. Still makes me sad.
