Ok, Newbie Tear builder still confused on epoxy or resin

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

All those years I spent repairing the corners and sides of the buses where the drivers didn't see the tree branch in front of them or the building alongside of them...... I don't think I ever had a brush on my toolbox. Went through an awful lot of body putty squeegees though!! An airboard and a DA make contouring and sanding a lot easier.

Thanks Guys, I appreciate your ideas. I amended my post above to add that I use a foam roller brush to apply the epoxy. Then I use a dry foam brush to very lightly break up the bubbles that form. Will look into getting body putty squeegees to lessen the sanding.

I'm a newbie fiberglasser. Lived by Wind An Sea beach but never got into surfing. How un-Californian of me. Pacific Cats and Hobie Cats were fun back in the day. :)

Steve...I should have spoke up...I use a brush to lay the fiberglass cloth and apply the second fill coat. Then I go to the foam rollers for build coats...it seems to be a "to each his own" deal. For me...it is easier to work out any kinks in the fabric with a brush...
