Maybe no one showed up!
Sorry--no pics! I didn't take my camera out til the last day and most everyone had already gone home. And, my home computer has suffered a little crash.
Actually, we had seven campsites for our little group.
I was there. My sister and her husband were there with their Skamper standy. My niece and her family were there with their pop-up.
Don and Mary (Don Dickey) had a debut of his new build. He did a great job, and I can't wait for all of you to see it. Beautiful finish work. He did a nice install of vinyl on the top and hatch (will be on the hatch).
Stacy (StacyJay) and her mom Lynn were there with their Wazat. Stacy, did you find your tongue lock keys?
Scott and Geri (Niteranger) were there on a stop for their trip to Branson for their anniversary.
Rounding out the list was Lenny and JoAnne (McTeardrops).
The weather wasn't too cold, but the wind was unrelenting Friday afternoon and Saturday. We almost packed up and left early, but the forecast was for the wind to die down at sunset on Saturday, and it did. We had 2 EZ Up's set up but had to take them down because of the wind. Scott's took a bad hit, and he had to dismantle his changing room.
But Saturday nite was great after the wind died down. We feasted and sat around a small campfire.
And no one had to suffer the ill effects of getting hit by Water Balloons! That little ritual needs to die on the vine!
Now, everyone has learned that Inks Lake is a popular destination, and when we decide to camp there in the future, you have to get your reservations in early. I would suggest Thursday arrivals if at all possible--the park was completely open, and we were able to get great campsites.
Sorry y'all all missed it. I'm sure Stacy or someone will post pics when they get a chance.

Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).
Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.
