All I'll say is

I'm young enough to remember how to do it & I'm young enough to still be able to do it. Now if only I was old enough know what it is, I would do it.

Hey, the poll only goes up to 74 years old........does that mean that my 76 years and 5 months doesn't count? Hmmm, I feel that I may well be the oldest teardropper on the planet. You better re-do the poll, because in less than 24 years, I'm gonna be 100.

but I'm not waiting for new years to make resolution, stating it now, getting out in 2009 6 or 8 times or more in camper, repairing and possibly selling Yellowstone, converting astro into mini camper, and possibly building a teardrop/conestoga wagon or something to pull behind it.

going prospecting of several of the camping trips, and hope to see a bunch of other peoples teardrops and campers.....

The only reason I want to know is because I'm 35 going on 36 and it seems to me that everyone that I've met so far are retired or soon to be retired.

Yes, I'm one of the 'older' campers. However, I think camping and, in many cases, trailer building has more to do with a person's state of mind that their actual age.

As a person gets older, everything slows down. Even if you keep working on something, the time it takes to do that takes longer. Plus, just finding the energy to start doing something takes longer.
(Yet, I still choose to do things!)

Meanwhile, the clock and the calendar move faster and it seems that life may be on the decline but everything else is on an incline that gets a tad steeper with each year. (I may be going up a steep incline but I'm still looking forward, not down!)

That said, stopping to 'smell the roses' gives one a much more heavenly 'scent' than it ever did when one was younger. (I thank God that I am still alive and can take the time to stop and enjoy!)

So, it's sort of a 'trade-off' that reminds me of my feelings on the current economy: I may not have as much as I used to but, with a little thought and effort, I still can do something with what is left! Obviously, I choose to think positive!

Regardless of your age, I wish you all peace, happiness, and a long, fulfilling life!

I'll be 54 in August of '09. One daughter, age 25, one grandson, age 4. Mary's 53, 54 in may. She has a daughter, age 23.

Can't retire until 58, lose too much in the pension. Oh well, what's another 5 years!

49 in few months, still a long way till retirement, practicing by just tiring at this time, will get around to retiring after I've gotten good at it.

I still havn't had my mid life crisis, I made a conscious choice and decided to wait until I could afford to do it up right............

I'm 51, the hubster is 52. We've been married 32 years and have three kids 29, 27, and 20. Two dogs and four grand-dogs.
At this rate, I'll be able to retire at about 85!
