Forgive my stupidity but how exactly does one achieve the the curve on the hatch?

I apoligize if this is posted in the wrong section. I'm still finding my way around.

It is actually so easy when you realize that you are cutting the angle out of plywood sideways, it took me a little bit to wrap my brain around it at firs too. Picture's worth a thousand words.
You can see the marks on the plywood, they are all the same size even though it doesn't look like it.
Clamp em all together and belt sand them to be as close as possible to each other:
Cut small sections of whatever length you want to go between them and start gluing and screwing!
