I made a very profound discovery last evening,, Its hot down South and after work not much was going on at home so I mixed my self a glass of tea and went outside to the garage to ponder the teardrop and try to decide what to do next in the spiff-up department,, after a spell of pondering and thanking, it was determined that I should work on my rear cabin cabnets and galley shelves,,, bad thought process,,, now I have no rear cabin cabinets and the galley shelves are ready to remove,,, now as all you would be remodlers know ya cant just remove stuff and rework it and replace it in its original place,, I got a pile of good kindling now,,
I sure got a lot of room inside now,, So construction starts tonight on new cabinets and reworking the interior of the cabin,, I think I need supervision so I dont start looking and thanking at changing other things on the trailer,,,
Moral to this story is if ya havent got anything to do and are unsupervised,,, dont go near ya trailer with tools ,, that is unless ya want or need kindling,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :hammer:  :rofl2: :fb

p/s this all started by looking at them d**n pictures from minden,,, thanks a lot guys,,

Chip,
You see if it had been PJ. in the heat, you would have laid down on the bed and passed out. You would not tore out your galley and been dreaming of flamingoes. Do I have to come up there and suprevise you?

So what lesson did you learn here?

Just keep the alcohol away from the pink plastic flamingoes you have and you'll be fine.

...I once lent a buddy my sawzall to cut out a new door in his house...when I went by 2 days latter to see whassup I found him sitting on floor covered in sawdust, muttering as I looked around I realized he had cut out virtually every inside wall in his house
Unsupervized tool usage by the unwary, untrained(or sober) is a dangerous/sad thing to see

p.s. put the saw down and back away very slowly

Postby OkieSailor » Sat Jul 02, 2005 10:14 pm

Chip that must be Long Island Iced Teas you have been drinking, I cannot imagine any other kind of tea causing this kind of reaction. :D

Not to the many of us who passed through Norman OK for basic Navy aviation training in the 50's. :applause:

dmb90260 you might be interested to know that they are finaly getting around to tearing down that mound of dirt used as a back stop at the rifle range. Read in the paper the other day that they are going to tear it down.

OH MY GOD!! You say they are tearing down Mt. Norman? It is such a beloved landmark. What will we do without our "mountain range" here in Norman? Will progress never stop it's consuming forward movement to desecrate the entire planet! Don't know how we'll be able to live without it. :R Oh well, progress must prevail.
