I was mis-informed on how far in advance reservations could be made!!:?
The window as of today is through Oct 28, 2009.
I am in the same site as for III; but it looks like I wasn't the first!!! There are six sites booked for that weekend all ready. If you have a favorite site, I wouldn't wait too long!!

I'm booked for the 23rd through the 25th. Now I just hope I can get the time off from wherever I will be working at the time! :worship:

I actually made my reservation a few days ago...

Seems incredibly wrong to make reservations so far in advance...

:D Boy are you guys in a hurry. It's not even 2009 yet. :D

I'd reserve now, but at my age, I don't even buy milk with a long expiration date.

Even if I get the long expiration dates; it's usually pretty chunky before I get halfway through the container and I end up throwing it away. I don't use a lot of milk. Milk is for baby cows!!!

MJ's site and the party site were still open when I made my reservations. :P The only one taken on that end of the loop so far is #32.

Alright... I went to reserveamerica and can't even find "our" campground.... I found Lake Bistineau but not the right area.... what am I doing wrong? staying up way too late at night?

I might want around 31, 33.. where I was last year, or move over towards the 50s... hmmm

OH~!!!!!!! and a preview about Halloween decorations.
I think, not for sure about Linda, but I think me and her both said if we decorate this year we will neither one be in the running for the award, ours will just be for fun.

It might be the staying up too late at night  ; but probably not. I was having the same problem.

I just started scrolling down the list of available sites on ReserveAmerica for Lake Bistenau and clicked on one of them that started with CI (mine is CI009). There's a map clicky with each one and it will bring up the loop. Hope this helps.

As far as Halloween decorations, I was just considering some kind of temporary buggy seat that I could prop on the front roof of the tear and putting either a skeleton or grim reaper figure with reins to the tongue! But that depends on which trailer makes it this year. Hopefully I will be far enough along to bring the Paddy Wagon, otherwise it will still be Itty-Bitty.

Yep, I did that ... the last 2 years I've been in 33, 31, something like that... clicked on that site number , but the map doesn't look like "our" campground.

I know ... I should just call.

Yep..... I do remember "our" camp being more peanut shaped than it looks on the map. I went out to the truck and dug my receipt from last one out of the center console. The site # (CI009) matches..... so hopefully I didn't screw up.
