Did somebody say Big XII?

Junior quarterback Graham Harrell was awarded the Sammy Baugh Trophy, which goes to the nation's top collegiate quarterback. The award ceremony is scheduled for February 19, 2008 in Columbus, Ohio.
That's Graham Harrell. Last year he was a contender for the Heisman Trophy. We all know what happened there -- and so far the only sophomore who ever won it, while still playing reasonably good ball, isn't showing signs of repeating last year's performances, unlike Harrell. This year he's a lot better QB, and he has a receiver corps to contend with. Patrick Crayton -- that's a name I bet y'all hear a lot. So is Michael Crabtree.

 I only like the 3~4 sec.s that they show the cheerleaders.

I'm a sports dude. I'd rather watch a movie. ;)

I will watch it at a party if beer/whiskey drinking is involved!

We like the big XII. The Rodney Dangerfield of conferences. Actually the Midwest gets slighted more frequently than not. Anyway I hope nobody throws a hammer at me, but we are proud of the MIZZOU TIGERs the last couple years. Proud of Chase Daniels, a really good person and talented guy.

I grew up rooting for the WA Huskies! :)

Hope everyone has fun this football season, a real American tradition. ANd by the way, a bit of trivia is that the first Homecoming was held at the University of Missouri (Columbia, of course) in 1911. The interesting story behind this - short to read - is located at the URL below. If you read it then you know why it is still called The Border Wars when MU plays the KU Jayhawks. (GREAT COMPETITION AND GREAT GAME NO MATTER WHO WINS, ALTHOUGH MU WON IN 2007, THE GAME HELD AT THE KC CHIEFS STADIUM)

Now THAT'S funny!

I don't care who you are! ;)

I guess we will find out on January 8th. (BTW, in the final polls there are 3 Big 12 teams in the Top 10 and only 2 SEC teams)
