All I get is an X also. I did kinda what madjack suggested.

Right click on the X and show the properties. Highlight the address and paste it to the browser address bar.

Dr., If you were asking about my wiring diagrams, I don't have any to look at yet. I know basically how and where I'll put my breakers and fuses and how the wiring will run, but have not made the graphic design and probably won't for a while. I will have 110 outlets with breakers for the AC and a couple of small appliances. I'll have a 6-8 fuse block for the 12V (lights, vent fan, water pump, and a couple of outlets front and back). I haven't yet decided on whether or not to use an AC to 12V converter or just keep my batteries charged. I probably won't be doing more than 2-3 day camping trips. I've run lights in a pickup camper for that long off the starting battery with no problems.

My web link on my signature goes directly to my camper pages of my web site where I have all of my main design images. I am working on larger images of small details that I may put on a page sometime.

I downloaded and installed the free FireFox web browser, and now I can see everything just fine. Plus it is about 250% faster than Explorer!

I agree, it's much nicer to use. Just don't throw away IE, as there are still web sites out there that don't run properly in Firefox but do in IE.

RE Firefox

Postby cracker39 » Thu Jul 14, 2005 8:10 pm

I downloaded and install Firefox today...been planning on doing it for a while now. I have high speed internetd and can't tell if it is faster or not. It won't go to my home page that I used with IE...that is http://my.yahoo.com/. It says either my Yahoo account is canceled (which it isn't), My cookie is invalid ( i deleted and recreated the cookie) or that I changed my password (which i didn't). I guess I'll just have to use an other home page with Firefox.

Dale,

One way to get caught out by Firefox is that it has a pop-up blocker built-in and maybe it is switched on by default - I can't remember. There are sites that require you to use pop-ups - is my.yahoo.com one of them?
