Forgot to tell you, I won't be making it to Fran's over New Year's. Boss bribed me into staying due to end of the year work issues and family health problems (his family). So, no snow for me in the New Year. :cry:

And with the amount they are getting, I may have gotten stuck there, which is a beautiful place to be stuck. But, Fran and Jeff got snowed in for 10 days twice already and were running out of water and supplies. They are now more prepared for Winter Survival.

Sorry you missed your trip, but glad your aren't snowed in. When I saw the avatar pic on the snowmobile thought you left without telling me :lol:

That picture was taken the last time we visited Fran, which was last year on New Years' Eve week. We took the snowmobiles out to the State Forest, can't remember the proper name right now, but it was just beautiful. I will post some pictures of that adventure. The best fun I've had in years!

I like your camp chair. I may have to get one for my birthday. They look a lot easier to get in and out of than the old bag chairs I have. The one I got from Santa Brian was like Steve and Kim's camp recliner.

Talked to Fran today for an hour and she is excited that there will be lots of new faces at the gathering. This is gonna be fun my peeps.

Hi Steve, They are from a Cabelas LINKY

But Wal-mart has them and other outdoor stores. Dads is a Colman and it is VERY heavy!! Mine is a feather compared to his.

Becca, Those Pictures are BEAUTIFUL!!! I wanna go there.... That looks like a lot of fun!

Actually Kriss and I are planning to go to Denver next year for Christmas to be with her family. :thumbsup:

Thank you...I thought they were pretty cool pics. That is one of my favorite's too Miriam. The whole forest was stunning and it was a beautiful day to snowmobile. Didn't see the first bit of wildlife though. I guess the noise scares them off. We stayed on those machines for 5 hours. I would recommend this place to anyone -- it is just beautiful.

We went skiing 2 days later in Breckinridge and that was fun. But, it was snowing pretty heavily most of the day. I love Colorado -- beautiful country.

I weighed Mental Floss today and the tongue weight came in at 105 pounds, so I'm OK to tow to Florida with my little Honda!! WOO HOO!! Please keep your fingers crossed for good weather in February, I don't want to test how weatherproof she is on a 1500 mile round trip in the rain, LOL!!

Kristi, the weather in February is usually pretty nice but sometimes chilly. The way the weather is changing, there is no telling what we may wake up with, but I can almost guarantee you it won't be snow. :lol:

I'm getting excited about the camping trip. I can't wait to see the Mental Floss, the Powder Puff, The Gypsy Queen (Steve's new trailer, but that's
not the name of it), The Inkwell and MaryK's...did she name it? And all our other forum friends who will be joining in.
