I bought mine from PPL Motorhomes in Houston, TX. I had to drive to get it. It's sold in 16' lengths, so it's really expensive to ship, if you can even find anyone to ship something that oversized.

Most big RV shops will have it. You may try "RV insert trim" in Google and see if you can find a shop close to you. I use http://gorv.com/ all the time to find prices and local dealers. :thumbsup:

I should have the rest of it installed today after work and will try to get some more pics up. I really like the stuff, although it's pricey. I paid about $40 for one 16' piece. The insert trim is on order.

The vinyl that you put on the roof, can you discribe it a little?

What is it used for normally?

Is it UV-resistant?

Hi Graddus. It's tonneau which is usually black, and you often see it in truck beds. It's what a lot of the truck guys use to cover their beds for a clean look.

It's outdoor vinyl, and it does have UV inhibitors.

I got the tonneau on today. I went ahead and installed the white insert to see if I liked it, but I'm going to pull it out and replace it with black for contrast. I was going to get red, but I found a good deal on some black, and I plan to use black for my next build too.

I'll get the bottom trim pieces (front and back) on this weekend with the door, floor, and finish the interior (mattress is on the way) and I'm done!

I'm thinking I'll put a buy it now price for $4000. I think that's a fair price. Not sure what I'll do for the reserve price, but someone will be able to pick up a nifty camper w/o breaking the bank.

Entrance side is getting installed. I have the clamp holding the trim in place.

Entrance trim is now installed, but no insert trim in place yet.

Both sides installed with trim in place.

Rear view after installation.

Back inside the garage until the weekend.

WOW, I wish I could work that fast. Nice job. I think $4,000 is more than a fair price. I'd make the reserve price whatever you have in it (materials and time) and add 20%.

The weather has been warm all week, so when it comes to work on the camper a cold front blows through. Gah!

I've been going back and forth how to handle the door issue. Today I'm going to build the door, so I decided to bite the bullet and make a decision. I decided to go with Brad's idea.

I'm working on the step box now.

The dropped step is now in place. It's screwed and epoxied in place. I will add fiberglass tape to the seams for even more strength.

On to the door...
