You couldn't be any more computer illiterate than I!

Highlight the item you want to save and copy it. Then paste it in Word. That's what I'd do. Maybe there is something easier, but as I said, I'm computer illiterate.

Thanks Chris

You went over my head lol. I high lighted it and right clicked and then clicked copy and nothing happened (which might be a good thing like BOOM)

Stephen, open a new screen in word, highlight on the message what you want to save, click copy, then go to the new screen in word and click paste. I use this method all the time.

Sorry I wasn't more clear. As Cathy said, after you highlight and right click on it, click on copy. Then open up Word just like you were going to type a letter..........except go up to the top of your screen and left click on Edit. then left click on paste. Then when you go to close the screen, you'll be asked to name the document. Give it a name you'll remember. Don't worry..............feels good to be able to help someone who is less computer literate than I. THAT'S A FIRST for me! :rofl2: Good luck. Now that I'm a computer instructor, feel free to call on me anytime. (Madjack would be proud of me! )

Stephen.

Something that you might also do, is that after you paste the copy into Word, now minimize Word down to the task bar. Now if you have more copy, you can just bring it back up. After your done on the forum you can go back and separate all the information as to where you wish to store it. I usually open a copy of WordPad (easier and quicker) and place it on the task bar each time I visit the forum.
