Question is do I need to cover the inside with something besides fiberglass?

Some of that spray on undercoating might be a good idea, fiberglass tends to chip pretty readily.

Do you need to fill the bottom of each one, so that it doesn't collect mud and whatever - I'm not sure which way round they go and so if they will trap muck at the bottom.

Yes I did fill in a spot (to the right on both pieces is the bottom) on both pieces.

I undercoated the wheel covers with black goo, hopefully it will dry before I can leave.



Also installed the inside skin in the galley.



I am planning on painting this so I can hide a lot of sins.

the up-dates you are posting are looking good.
not sure what they put in those cans of foam where you are
but i know for the UK domestic market, they put lots
of nasties in it to kill any bugs which may try to nest in it.

i reckon on useing astrofoil for insulation cos ive just
insulated my attic with the stuff & got lots spare. jammed
a load behind the radiators in my house & the difference in the temprature of the wall behind it was increadable.
there is an ebay seller over here who sells 4 footwide rolls, 120 foot long
for UK £85 each delevered. thats after he has imported it from the USA !

They used to make a non toxic version of the foam that was less money than the toxic, now it is two dollars more . No you do not want to apply this in an enclosed space.

Started to install the wheel spats. Had my niece hold a piece of 1x on the inside as I secured it from the outside. Tomorrow when the glue dries I should be able to insulate there. Here is what the outside looks like so far.

Since my cabin door experienced spring back when I cut it free of the wall I am slowly trying to correct it. When I work up the courage I cut out a "V" in the door frame, with about an eighth of an inch gap, then fill with glue and pull together. Really boring, scary, and makes for uninteresting pics, you can not tell what I am doing. I did add insulation in the galley see.

Installed another ceiling panel in the cabin, insulated of course.

Yes I am still working on the wall insulation.

It got more expensive than I anticipated, but I did get that part done (spray on insulation) need a bit more flat insulation in the cealing (next year). It is improved over last year for sleeping in the cold, till I open the door to put my shoes on, brrrrr. I am in Kanas now so not much work getting done currently.

been keeping an eye on the jellybelly.
i dont know about you but its bleeding cold here so building becomes a little less enjoyable.
