Free or cheap rendering program???

Postby OuttaHand » Sun Jan 18, 2009 5:01 pm

I have a 2-D drawing of the side elevation of the teardrop I'd like to build.
I'm wondering if anyone out there knows of any program that can take that 2D drawing and "extrude" it easily into a 3D object that can be rotated and looked at from different angles, etc.

Any thoughts???

google sketch up? I got the link from somebody on here. I'm still getting used to the program, but it's fairly easy to use. Just do a search and it will take you to the free download

http://sketchup.google.com/download/

It has a little bit of a learning curve; but it should do what you want.

I use it a lot.
