Getting ready to go out with new harness.

Our boy is in back of mom trying to figure as to what is going on. Scared a bit but now like theyve been friends for a longer time.

:) :)

I think she's already figured out that she's gorgeous.

She's got diva potential.

It's a dominant gene and Gidget has it on both sides.

Somehow them Samoyed pup facial features are just comical. The outline of the face and then the hair around it especially at this time.

A few hundred Samoyeds attend the annual Samoyed Nationals. Most stay in the host resort hotel.

Surrounded by hundreds of seeming clones, every single one of them seems to know that they are: THE ONE.

It's a sight to behold.

Gidget meets so many in the city -- residents, tourists and fellow travelers when we go out of town. She's accustomed to strangers posing with her for photos.

She now assumes that any approaching voice is about her, especially if it's saying "beautiful" "pretty dog" "look at that white dog" or "Oh my God!"

And then with her tail still arched up over her back, she does a slight wag of acknowledgment.

Reminds us of Queen Elizabeth II's royal wave.

It's my friends who dubbed Gidget: Diva.

Yes, that is the photo. It is so cute and she sure needs loving, a lot of it. They are all adorable, so is the sami, ha ha. You know, Suvi and Samuel. I think you did real well and rescued the little one from a life of loneliness. I often think about the people who get animals and never seem to ever play with them or even speak to them. I have a neighbor who has 2 and they never do anything with them. It is funny because they started getting out and would come over to our back door and wait for us to come out and play with them. They finally put up an electric fence to keep them at home. Now I have to go pet them over the fence when the electric is shut off. Any way I feel sorry for them. Would love to see your "Una", I know she will get all the love she needs.

There she is our favorite Grani, How are you anyhow?

I just got in from the trails and woods nearby. I think we did good by rescuing her. She is a fine pup as well as a little wild. But then pups are supposed to be.

Samuel and Nicholas sure like her a lot. As Hiker Chick stated earlier that pups are inconvenient.. So weve found out. But I,ll tell you between taking care of Samuel and the Samoyed. Im busy. At the end of the day Im tired

I get confused with all the S,s around now.. :?

Im not regretting it as far as not able to show her in a ring but Ive answered that to myself many a time. Im not one for running in a ring nor stretching it to see how she looks or much for ribbons and what not.
And above all its an expensive hobby. So she,s our buddy and family member. As is called here on the Forum, A camping buddy. ;)

She does attract attention already from people nearby. I go outside now more than I normally do so its a positive thing. And come summer even more so. ;)

Grani keep in touch ok. We,ll post photos as the days and weeks go by.

Between Hiker Chick and us we,ll keep this thread going I think.

But also bring on in your camping buddies here too. All are welcome.

Not just a personal thread for the Samoyeds. :) :) Hope your doing well and staying healthy. And soon to be campng again.

Hugs to you.
