5 x 8 2000lb axle trailer in Want Adds

Postby Juneaudave » Tue Aug 02, 2005 9:42 pm

I was intending to build my own 5 x 10 trailer for a tear but saw a 5 x 8 in the paper that was advertised as new with a 2000 lb axle. Being in Juneau...that may be a deal. Any hints on what to look for? I would want to extend to 10 ft to save "cramped head syndrone" and "5 ft is the minimum for me and my sife complex". All suggesions welcome...BTW...Dean's 1947 vintage camper is my alternative!!!

Dave,
Those "soft-sided" tears suck, whether they are vintage or modern.
8' might be long enough on the frame, depending on your profile.
My body is 2' longer than the frame, because of the front and rear ellipses.

Yes Dave, my body is one foot longer than my frame because of the bottom roll pans. I did it that way on purpose. ;)

Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant"is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist ".
