I also got the 220J going, as well. This one I went all out and repainted the fount and frame and replaced the generator, air valve and fuel cap.
Anna thinks a red globe would look cool so I might buy one and see what it is like. I can glass bead my own globe if I think it might be something to use also.

Jeremy, it is the 1934-1945 globe because it just has the Colman logo on the front and "Pyrex Made in USA" on the back. Are these rare or hard to find? I'll probably do what you said and put it away and buy a new globe if it is. I can also take some more pics if you want.
