Which speed is best on a digital camera? 200 or 400?

I just checked out my dslr. the iso setting is on auto. Though in certain shots I will use 400. On my camera anything higher than 400 has a bit of noise in the picture. Use auto if you have it. Shoot mainly in lighted areas, use 200. Shoot action shots or lower light use 400 or 800 if your camera can handle it without too much noise

As Conbrio said, the higher the ISO the grainier the photo.

In old film cameras, 400 ISO film was pretty standard for flash photos.

Outside in daylight you'd want to use a lower ISO -- 200 or 100.

What camera are you using?

By the way, Una is a ringer for Gidget at that age.

Love puppy sleep photos and those baby soft puppy bellies.

I need a puppy fix.

Heikki:

I might trade Dixie for Una, but I would never trade Abbie. She may be small, but she is all that and a bag of chips!

Abbie is one of those dogs that if I had the money to clone, I would. I would make a lot of money selling her clones because everybody that meets her, wants to have her. Bank tellers send home treats for her even when I don't have her with me when I go to the bank!

She is a rescue dog and I sure got lucky when I found her. And I like to think that she got lucky, too.
