I got the beer, but I don't have the patience or time.

R/C Man,

Geez you make it look too simple. I'm having a hard time just using the computer and chewing gum.

Say again, you're not working from any plan?

Don't "should" on yourself, there are plenty of others who will "should" on you for no reason. Accept what you did and move on. Life is too short.

regarding Guinness, I have also found that soaking both the installer and the installee with Guinness makes the work go much easier, if not quite as neatly.. I understand that steam works, but Guinness does also, and is faster, but after all, who cares?

Sarge,

I can vouch for R/C seeing as I am his next door neighbor. He is NOT working from ANY plans! And I plan on doing the same. With his help of course!

LAptop power from a Teardrop Battery

Postby xe1ufo » Wed Jul 13, 2005 8:57 pm

Hey guys and gals:

Here is a universal laptop power supply that substitutes the one you have and will take 120 VAC OR 12 VDS input, and it is less than $80!! It also works on commercial airline power jacks under the seats!

I hope he's okay--because Greg has simply vanished from the site.

Hey Everyone!

I am still here... :D I started school again this semester so that has taken a front seat on the priority list. I also ran out of funds.... I did just pick up another sheet of ply so I can start the cabinetry though. Maybe I will get that chopped up this weekend. I will be sure to post some more pictures when I make some more progress....

Now, if I can get Dukie to cut the back yard I will be set....
(Thanks again for the cutting!!)
Greg

Well everyone it has been a long time since I have touched this project. Moving to a new house lead to new projects etc so this was put on the back burner. So I have started working on it gain and want to share some pics.

This is where I left off: cutting tongue and groove pine for the interior.

I purchased a countertop and started mocking up the galley.

I also put together the lower wall behind the galley. Interior cabinets for hold cloths etc will protrude out over the top of this wall into the cab.

Welcome back ... I had to read the whole thread because it was before I got involved here. It's interesting to see some of these earlier posts and how much is the same and how much is different.
