Camp master Popane Bottle

have anyone ever use a camp master bottle? it's a 11lbs. works great on my trailer. i got a peace of 10" underground sewer pipe. not used and made a support for my tank, along with a bracket for my radio antena and wrap it with aluminum. it turned out great. you can see how i did it by going to my album page 2 & 3.

you sure that attaching a long rod to a propane tank is a good idea

the radio antena is shielded from the tank. and i got a antena ball that goes on top. makes it easier to line up your tow, to the trailer. thanks for your concern

Randy that tank holder looks really good. Was that PVC pipe under the aluminum?

Greetings all, first post. I had a rusted propane tank that I painted once. The gas company refused to fill it as I had painted it the wrong color. In NY and I suspect elsewhere, they HAVE to be white. I woory the black tank may overheat. Very sanitary install though.

edit: light grey is ok in NY too.

It's funny about the NY law about the color of the gas bottles because I remember my father used to have Airstream trailers and their bottles were all painted aluminum. So, are there no Airstream trailers in NY with propane bottles?

Not sure when the regulation was out into effect. Aluminum paint might pass as light grey though. I am in the planning stages of my teardrop project and being a grill freak will need to incorporate a Weber Silver C and a 22 pound bottle in my design. I'm working out a 5' wide cub-modernistic in full cedar strip construction. I'm collecting parts and construction will begin this winter.

I am wondering where you obtained the plating for the front of the tear body. Is it effective in deflecting road debris? One of the other forum members got a nasty dent in his aluminum skin and was dismayed by it.

tom, i purchased it at lowes. it was a 2ft. x 4ft x 1/16". the cost is high. almost 80.00 bucks. but it,s worth it to keep the debri from you tow vehicle hitting the front of the trailer
