Seriously though ~~~~

If you look at the aerial photo on page 2 I see a roof line in the photo.

I think they are shelters !

I tried to look in the DNR info and found no explaination.

Bob, those are landing sites for aliens who are having a teardrop spaceship rally that weekend. Bring those trading cards Scott made for you! :shake hands:

Actually, the reason why you see a roof line (the site in between 115 and 86...across the road from 112) is because that it is a HOST site. That might be either a permanent shelter or a large canopy, most likely the former (so you were correct, of course). Sites 14 and 118 are set aside for emergencies. For example, if a campsite would get flooded out, they could move the campers to those sites. Then, I'm sure you figuered out already that the roof seen across the road from 68 & 70 is the "Comfort Station"...interesting title for a bathroom with showers.

How do I know this, you are asking yourself, Bob? Aliens!

Your query piqued my curiosity. However, since the aliens whom I was speaking with at the time wouldn't tell me the answer, I had to call the park...about 15 minutes ago.

And of course you were right. Well, at least that's what Vickie ALWAYS says!

Yes indeed. In fact, I was going to email my pic and the one of my Little Guy to you last night but didn't quite get around to it. It will go to your gmail.com email account, if that is OK.

This could be a problem as my Jackalope is always attached starboard and would be facing the Host and Hostess. I think I'll be exploring the "transfer" policy soon . . . :bounce:

Mike,
Let's not have you crazy people  with genetically mutated beasts mounted on the side of your trailer ruin it for the rest of us respectable Tear Jerkers who have enough common sense to mount those types of things INSIDE our trailers where they belong so that the General Public (Bob <g>) can't see them. :frightened:

Mission Accomplished

Scott/Kurt -

Can you swap me from #115 to #16 ? I was looking for flat/grass/shade and #16 will fill the bill just as well as # 115.

Being backed up against the woods with the trail to the lakes will probably assure Raccoon raids every night, but it is safer than risking a potential Jackalope "incident".

(Campground hosts from Indiana are known for rustling and then barbecuing jackalopes from Wyoming)

Also . . .

When I was swapping sites a little while ago I saw that #'s 20,50,52,117,45,53,35,19,15,17,39,7 and 5 are available Thurs - Sun so our T&TTT map is a little out of date.

# 60 has also been booked
