If you are just lookin to not move the generator then perhaps an airtight space for it. Well vented :thumbsup: I would have a door open on the side for venting. It will also keep the fumes from sticking to everything inside.

Cooking---Make a power vent above the stove and open a window. Just put the fire extinguisher near. If you are running a generator why not use an electric stove? :thumbsup:

I think in my case I wouldn't want to lose the interior volume needed to enclose the generator. I suppose I could always stick it in the doorway with the exhaust aimed out. But it's not hard for two people to lift it out and put it back when done, and there's something to said for low-tech solutions...
