Have any of you ladies ever used a railer dollie http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200312193_200312193?

If so, was it hard for you to push/pull? Did you use it on an inclined surface?

Todah, I'm not a lady but I have that exact same dolly. It makes moving around the tear a LOT easier. It's not hard to push or pull at all. As far as inclines, I guess it would depend on how much your tear weighs.

There is no doubt about it.... a dolly like that makes life much easier.

I pull much larger trailers (20-26') with mine.

A teardrop is a piece of cake.

If the incline is steep you might hook a rope to it just in case. This is on my list of things to remember to buy. :oops:

War Pony has one and it looked pretty easy. :thumbsup:

I noticed that it says it has a 600 lb. capacity, though. I know my tear weighs more than that. Wonder if it would work, though?

that is tongue weight, not trailer weight.

I dont like the dinky wheels though.....Wonder if you could put bigger wheels on it??? :thinking:

* Thanks for weighing in guys and ladies. Since it has worked so well for you all, I'll be getting one too! I hope that I can change the ball out because Todah 1 has a 2" ball.

** Mary K, I noticed that the Northern Tools ($59) has 10 1/2" wheels. The HF "Heavy Duty" ($59) version has 12" wheels. You might call the HF and see if you can change the wheels out.

You won't need to. My trailer takes a 2" ball also but the 1 7/8" ball that comes with the dolly works just fine. It's not like you are towing it down the road.

Seriously, thanks. That is a relief because the nut used on those balls is difficult to remove.

I know, I tried something different but I got away from my signature cats (and occasional other furry creatures). So, the cats are back!

And I meant towing down the road with the dolley. If you are doing that then I want to watch :lol:
