The answer to your question is no. Although, watch what you say about him. He does come in and look around to see who's saying what about what.

P.S. Doesn't everybody have shocks on thier tears or tiny travel trailers. Think about it. Why do cars have shocks?

I have kind of kicked around the idea of putting friction shocks on my teardrop. They are made for t-buckets, and look like they would be compact. Anybody ever done that or seen it done.

I put Monroe gas shocks on my tear after the first couple of trips to the desert. What a difference. The teardrop tracks steady with little or no bounce. I would recommend shocks on any trailer over 1200#

Reading your comments concerning shocks and looking at the pictures sounds like the best way to go. My question, Where does on get that small plate that is attached on the bottom of the springs to hold the lower part of the shock? I Tried NAPA, and they said they couldn't get them.

Strange, that's where I got mine. Monroe has a part number for that adapter plate. I'll do some checking and see if I can come up with a part number. Maybe Bob knows what it is.

News flash- Found some numbers for you. Shocks/ #555002 (Monroe), Retrofit kit/ #RB514 (also Monroe)
