HF trailer

I used the heavy duty frame but I don' t think it's totally necessary. Depends how heavy you think it will be after outfitted and loaded. If you think you'll be anywhere near the 1175# weight go with the heavy duty frame. Here's a link to a 20% coupon.

I used the 90154 for mine and it's worked out great. The trailer has a 1175 Lb. capacity. The gross weight of my tear is 750 lbs. From this, subtract the weight of the HF 90154 (287 lbs.). The load on my HF trailer is 463 lbs, less than half of its 1175 lb. capacity.

Hey Sam,

I'm not familiar with bigwoody... and the website doesn't show a whole lot...

but in general, the 1175# chassis that you were looking at is good for the average teardrop.

I've built with both the heavy duty frame, and the 1175# frame, and I'll say, the 1175# frame worked out fine.

I got the 12" wheels, and you'll want the 12" wheels unless you built something tiny like the Piccolo...

1175 Lb. Capacity 48" x 96" Heavy Duty Foldable Utility Trailer with 4" X 12" 4 lug Wheels, 4.8"-12" tires

I went with the bigger trailer when i got to HF i saw that the HD trailer was on sale for 20 dollars more then the little one so with the 20% off coupon i got it for about what i wanted to spend anyways thanks everyone for there input and the coupon
