Sounds good Chip. We'll get the times down in the next week or so. Saluda is a beautiful area. Carla and I almost bought a log cabin there a few years back. Then we decided to move up here instead.

Hey Chip,
Did you mean Seneca? We will be crossing 85 at Toccoa exit on highway 17, taking the bypass before you get into town. It is about 1 hour to Helen from the 85 exit. When do you think you will be coming through?

PS. There is a big short cut that you can take off 17 to the campgrounds on Bean Creek Rd. You do not go through town but cut across the mountain. It's not hard let me know if you want to try it.

Frank,, short cuts are always good,, and going thru town may be a hassle,, course it might be fun too,,lol,, we probably be thru there about 1030 to 1130 depending on when I can get headed out that a way,, thats a close as I can get at this time,, I would like to try to get to campground by 12:00 at the latest,, how does that sound,, and oops yep its Seneca not Saluda,, hey I at least got the first letter right,, yeaaa buddy,,

we just have to be in phone contact on friday am

Alan, Ross, thanks for the logo, just ordered today, looks great!! Chip we will help you get thru Maluda so you dont get lost. Menu: brats cooked in beer, that is if any beer available :lol: :lol: Alan i think Lynne's more excited than you are. Ross what time can you meet Chip & I in Greenville?For those of you that havent been to Helen there is great grocery store close by called Betty's thats a trip in itself. Helen is not dry, plenty abc stores. Looking forward to seeing everyone, newbies included :applause: Pete

Decided to go out and totaly empty the tear and repack. Been hauling around a lot of stuff we never use. Need to make hot/cold weather package and electric/propane package. Is it time to go yet ?

:cry: My daughter and three grandchildren are moving in to my little house for an indefinate period of time. I may move in to my tear in the yard for a long camp out. Isn't it time to go yet.
