Hey y'all..... it's getting closer.... about a month away.. Or maybe I'm just anxious for spring to get here!!!!

I noticed that we change clocks and spring forward on March 8 so that will make it nicer for the campout, not getting dark so early.

I've not posted much or done anything on the Jewel Box this winter, and money is $> but I will definitely be there at BB !!!
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

Good, we need to postpone the flight of the water ballons for as long as possible!

I was wondering why the water balloon was getting bigger... and then it hit me.

Let's just say it tends to "rain" at Bevers Bend at night, even when there isn't a cloud in the sky....

Hey Mark, I learned last year it is best not to stand beside a fire as it makes you very visable and it is best to stand beside Catoosa Grani. last year Grani was told to step behind a tree "NOW" .....It didn't take me long to figure out why. So after dark I think I'll just hang around with Grani.

Yep just a few weeks away now. Time to get the teardrop out of hibernation and clean her up and check supplies.

Yep, fires are a bad thing to be around when it starts to "rain". Last year my campfire was almost put out by a well placed balloon. It hit a bystander and sprayed water all over the campfire. I forgot who the victim was but they weren't happy! :x Somehow the party fire seems to be immune, maybe I'll hang around there this year.

I wonder if the government would give me a bailout for a missle defense system?

Hey everyone .............it's only 4 weeks till Beavers Bend

As a reminder that it would be great if everyone paid in full before we arrive so I won't have to spend all day Saturday collecting funds.

So, if you sent us funds for Friday night only then your balance is $23 for Saturday night. I would would be good if balances are paid by 03-16-09.

We can start talking potluck in a couple of weeks.

Charles pulled the teardrop out today for a good bath and so I can pack supplies that are still in "The Dude" .

If davel is reading this .......you are supposed to be out working on Bluebonnett 2 . so get to work

See everyone in a month. :applause:

Oh yea................don't forget..............If we plan to reserve the campground for April 2010 we will need to pay the deposit before we leave on Sunday.
So, if you want a reservation for 2010 bring $23
