My gf says she wants this fabric for pillows. Most of the time I'm a pushover but I just gotta draw the line.

Doug, if your going to go Hawaiian,

:?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and will preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Dunkin Donuts Coffee in one hand, Duffy roll in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE!"

It's me and my sister...and yes I do have a link but aren't going to post it right now...I got all sorts of problems with it right now and am trying to get it worked out. That's the plan for today...don't want anyone to see it in this condition. I've only had it going for a week and am getting a baptism by fire on setting it all up. Doug

Hey Art....I have one of those going also. I figure that if I'm peddling fabric, I better be wearing some of it...besides blows the ladies away when they find out that I can make my own shirts. I move a ton of pin-up fabric...yes, even the guy fabric...but they are a little...well lets just say too "San Francisco ish" check out how the guy is holding his fishing pole on the far left of the above pic. They also have a male pin-up fabric with firefighters and a cowboy one. Doug

holding his pole. lol. I hadn't noticed.

This is the fabric I think I'm really going to use:

Doug,
I was thinking about using this fabric for cushion covers but only on one side. I would probably use 10 oz black duck on the other sides. Sound plausible- i.e., durable?

I think that would work...you are going to need something to beef up the cotton though especially if you are putting it on some thick foam.. It's tough to use a regular cotton fabric as an upholstery material. Might want to think about some sort of quilting or at least sewing the 2 fabrics together to sort of make it 1 on your sitting side. You can get invisible thread, nylon clear, that will work and not take away from the print. I like that tattoo fabric. I think that there are some others too by http://www.ahfabrics.com/ Check out Nicoles prints. Doug

Doug,
Thanks for the advice. I think "laminating" a backing on makes sense. I want these covers to last a while, come off easily, and be machine washable.
