I Made A BIG Mistake On The Trailer Body-Hatch Area

That`s what I have done, I doubled up the skin on the edge of the hatch to fit the seal tighter. Great minds think alike ( or maybe I had a lucky guess!!!)

I've had to come up with all kinds of innovative ways to cover up my mistakes! I've had to do it so often I'm a freakin' expert by now!

Same here, not so many mistakes but lots of modifications, shall we say. I built my tear as light as possible and used 3/8" ply for the sides instead of 3/4" which then needed strengthening around the doors and galley edges etc. After 2 years it is just starting to come together.

I went to Autozone and spent $15.00 for an auto door seal and that solved the problem. If I had cliupped the lower edge of the hatch hinge initially, I wouldn't have had the problem. Thanks to all for your assistance. I'll return the tools later!
