Sam, welcome to the board. I have no knowledge of Bigwoodycamping, but I do know that you should be able to get any questions you have answered here! Best of luck with your build. What kind of profile is it?

Looks like a complete and formal guide with lots and lots of pics to help explain the instructions. Chipawa falls Wisc Huh? I have been dinking with these toy trailers for 2 years now and they were certainly a well kept secret until now.

However if you need a guide to mistakes and screwups just pm me I have made them all

Good luck on your build

Sam,

Lori (the co-director of the Tearjerker's St. Croix Chapter) has purchased one of his trailers. Maybe she can let you know how she feels about Big Woody.

Welcome to a fellow Minnesotan! What town are you from? Check out the Tearjerker's web site. It's where we post if we want to go camping. You are welcome to join us, wether or not you have your trailer finished. The first time I camped with the group I was in a tent! We are even trying to get together at the end of March at Black River State Forest in Wisconsin.

Good luck with your build! I had lots of fun building my Generic Benroy. If you have any questions or problems, please ask.
Tim

Image to the playground Sam. Looked up Big Woody and from the pictures I would just advise using plywood for the floors........You might also look above in the menu at the Generic Benroy plans for extra ideas. They are free. 8)

Now the most important part: :pictures: :pictures: :pictures: Keeps the bubble oil level and the MadOnes happy. 8)

Hey Buckethat:

Welcome the the Forum, I built my Tiny Trailer almost 3 years ago now.
I won't even say it's finished yet. Every time we use it, I think of something I can add or change. I found this site and immediately started to sketch out my ideas. Then I spent 9 months building mine in the garage. What else are we supposed to do when "cabin-fever" sets in.

We live in Elk River MN. We have been all over with our Tiny Trailer, we go up the North Shore a lot and over to Taylor's Falls. It turns heads where ever we go.

One bit of advise...
Try to keep it as light as possible. I didn't hold back on my build, and may have gotten a bit heavier than I would have liked.
I tow with a Dodge Durango, and can tell it's back there.
But thats also with two Kayaks on top of the Vehicle.

Good Luck on the build.
Ask a lot of good questions, we will all help you.
My kids may be smarter than me,
But I know more.

Welcome!

Where abouts in northwest MN are you? My husband hails from Gonvick. In fact, that's where my family now lives, too.

Welcome Sam,
We are from Mora.
Hope you can make some campouts. Like Tim says, don't worry if you don't have a trailer yet. You can get a lot of ideas at the gatherings, and learn from our builds. 8)

We have lived outside of town for 28 years, and moved into town 1.5 years ago.
Do you speak of Greg?
It is a great town! :applause:

Are you coming to ING2? Have you joined the St. Croix Chapter? It is a fun group!

Welcome to the forum. I am originally from Da Range. My folks lived in Braham for about six years. I was always amused that when we left their house to drive over to hgway 65 if we turned left we would go to Day, and if we turned right we would go to Mora.

You will eventually find someone with funny humor around here. :D
